Vulvar Intraepithelial Neoplasia
Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia and vulvar vestibulitis may be related to human papilloma virus.
It is not known if this is sexually transmitted but some forms of VIN are associated with sexual transmission. It can occur in several areas at the same time and is more common with fair skinned women. VIN is the presence of abnormal cells in the skin.

Some of the symptoms are mild to severe itching and burning, or abnormal coloration of the vulva. This type of condition usually takes years to develop into cancer though. If left untreated it may go away or it may develop into cancer. All stages of VIN are pre-cancerous. Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia and vulvar vestibulitis may be related to human papilloma virus.
