Vulva Dystrophy
Vulva dystrophy may be caused by infections, irritants, or the human papilloma virus, HPV.
The diagnosis is made by taking a biopsy of the vulvar skin. The condition is considered incurable. However, proper treatment allows the skin to return to its normal condition. Maintaining good hygiene, and protecting the skin from injury or irritating soaps are necessary non-medical treatments.
