Vulvar Pain
Vulvar pain is not a common symptom of HPV, a virus which can be detected by a pap smear test.
The cause of this condition is not known. Neurological injury is thought to be involved or a skin condition. Women with this condition may have had recurring yeast infections or laser surgery. Some cases involve the entire vulva; other cases only involve the surrounding entry to the vagina (the vestibule).
Vulvar pain is not a common symptom of HPV, a virus which can be detected by a pap smear test.

HPV, Pap Smear
Vestibulitis can cause great pain. It is often triggered by intimate relations but can also occur by something as simple as tight jeans, sitting on a hard chair or riding a bicycle. It wasn’t even entered into the official physician’s diagnostic manual as a definitive disorder until 1987. Vulvar pain is not a common symptom of HPV, a virus which can be detected by a pap smear test.
